MID expects to pay dividends on our Common Shares in accordance with a dividend policy determined by our Board of Directors. The dividend rate is established by the Board having regard to MID's financial resources, cash requirements and other relevant factors.
Until changed by MID's Board, we expect to pay a fixed quarterly dividend at the rate of US$0.40 per common share. However, MID cannot assure you that it will actually pay dividends at the rates it expects.
Income Tax Information for Canadian Resident Shareholders
MID designates the entire amount of each of its taxable dividends paid in 2011 to be an "eligible dividend" for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada), as amended from time to time (the "Tax Act"). Furthermore, MID designates the entire amount of each of its taxable dividends to be paid to be an "eligible dividend" for purposes of the Tax Act, unless indicated otherwise. Please contact your tax advisor if you have any questions with regard to the designation of eligible dividends.
